Director of Nutritional Services & Wellness

Assumes the role of professional leader in planning, directing, and managing the department’s nutritional services staff to assure quality care and service.  Responsible for continuous effective operation of the department; for continued improvement of the department’s activities; for meeting regulatory requirements (Federal, State, Local, and certifying/accrediting bodies); complying with organizational policy and procedures. Responsible for integrating services into the organization’s overall plan for delivery of care and service. Develops, implements, and manages all aspects of the BCH Wellness Program.

Bachelor’s of Science in Foods & Nutrition or related field, or equivalent education and training. Registered Clinical Dietitian required. preferred.  Serv Safe Certified or attained in first year of employment.  Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) and prior healthcare experience preferred. Active in professional organizations.  3-5 years experience preferred; 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred.
