SUMMARY:East Region Meeting: Nutritional Management of Food Protein-Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome
DESCRIPTION:Nutritional Management of Food Protein-Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome\nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER  \nHeather Martin\, a registered and licensed dietitian in clinical practical at the Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Marcos\, Texas. Her professional interests include maternal and child nutrition\, diabetes support\, and since her younger child was diagnosed with food protein-induced enterocolitis and multiple IgE allergies in 2012\, nutritional management of food allergies. \nObjectives: \n\nRecognize signs and symptoms of acute and chronic FPIES\nUnderstand the typical nutritional\, medical\, and social challenges that FPIES presents\nUnderstand strategies for provision of adequate nutrition for FPIES patients\n\nLive Meeting Attendees:\nDue to the speaker’s availability\, we will be hosting a live meeting with the speaker remotely. We will be serving appetizers and giving away door prizes at the Estabrook Center. Advance registration to attend the meeting in-person is required by Sunday\, November 12th at 5:00pm. NAND East Region Members are highly encouraged to attend the meeting in-person for networking opportunities. Additional fees are charged for non-members of NAND and registering after the advance registration deadline or registering at the door. \n\nIf you do not register by Sunday\, November 12th at 5:00pm\, you can register online to attend live meeting from Sunday\, November 12th at 5:01pm to Tuesday\, November 14th at 6pm or at the door (pay by check)\, but a $10 late registration fee will be applied. Late registrations for live meeting attendees will cost $30 for members\, $50 for non-members\, and $10 for student members.\nIf you would like to pay by check at the door instead of paying online with your credit card\, please follow these instructions: Click “Register”\, find your type of registration and select 1\, click “checkout”\, under “Payment” > “Payment Method:” select “Pay by check.” Please bring your check payable to NAND when you attend the live meeting.\n\nWebinar Attendees:\nYou will receive an email with instructions for joining the webinar from the NAND Administrative Assistant a day before the meeting.
